Cookie Policy

Last updated: July 18, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Magic Commerce Inc. (doing business as "MagicCo," "we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies — such as browser local storage and session storage — across our Services: our websites (including magicco.ai), applications, customer portals, AI assistants, and related digital services, unless a specific product provides its own cookie notice. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

1. What Are Cookies and Similar Technologies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. Similar technologies include local storage and session storage, browser features that let a website store small pieces of data on your device — persistently or for a single session. Under privacy laws such as the EU ePrivacy rules, these technologies are treated the same way as cookies, so we disclose all of them here.

2. Categories We Use

2.1 Strictly Necessary (Essential)

Required for the Services to function — for example, keeping your AI assistant chat session working, remembering authentication state in customer portals, and supporting security features. These cannot be switched off through a consent tool because the Services would not work without them.

2.2 Analytics

Help us understand how visitors use the Services — pages visited, features used, and general usage patterns. We currently use first-party analytics (data collected and processed by us, not shared with advertising networks). We may also use carefully selected third-party analytics providers; if we do, they will be listed in the table below and, where required by law, loaded only after your consent.

2.3 Functional

Remember choices you make (such as preferences or settings) to improve your experience.

2.4 Advertising / Targeting

We do not use advertising, targeting, or cross-site tracking cookies. If this ever changes, we will update this Policy and request your prior consent where required by law.

3. Current Storage Inventory

Name Category Type Purpose Duration Provider
magicco.visitor_id Analytics Local storage A randomly generated identifier used by our first-party analytics to distinguish visits and understand how the Services are used. It does not contain your name or contact details and is not shared with advertisers. Persistent (until you clear your browser's site data) MagicCo (first party)
AI assistant session data Strictly necessary Local / session storage Keeps your chat session with our AI assistants working correctly (conversation continuity within your visit). Session / until cleared MagicCo (first party)
Portal authentication (where applicable) Strictly necessary Cookie / local storage Maintains your signed-in state and security in customer portals and applications (e.g., MagicAuth single sign-on). Session or as configured for the portal MagicCo (first party)

4. Consent

Strictly necessary storage is used on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating the Services and does not require consent. For non-essential storage (such as analytics), where the law of your jurisdiction requires prior consent — for example, in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom — we will request it through an appropriate mechanism before such storage is set. Because our analytics are currently first-party only and do not track you across other websites, many jurisdictions (including the United States) do not require a consent banner for them. If we add third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking tools, we will implement a consent banner where required and update this Policy first.

5. How to Control Cookies and Local Storage

  • Clear or block storage: You can delete the identifiers above at any time by clearing your browser's cookies and site data for magicco.ai, and most browsers let you block storage entirely (Settings → Privacy). Blocking storage may prevent the AI assistants, portals, or other features from functioning correctly.
  • Browser instructions: See your browser's help pages — Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge each provide controls for cookies and site data.
  • Contact us: You may contact hello@magicco.ai with questions or requests regarding analytics data linked to your visitor identifier, including deletion requests.

6. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

We do not track visitors across third-party websites and do not sell or share personal information, so the behavior of the Services does not change in response to Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time, including when we launch new products or adopt new tools. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be posted on this page before they take effect.
